Area Overview

Miami is comprised of multiple varied neighborhoods, each with a unique history and feel. Move from one district to the next or immerse yourself in everything a particular area has to offer.

Miami Beach is home to well-known upscale hotels like Fontainebleau and Eden Roc, as well as an abundance of restaurants, shops, and pristine beaches.

South Beach is where the beautiful, rich, and famous come to play. Glitzy clubs and breezy lounges dominate the party scene and trendy stores and outdoor cafes line Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road.

Bal Harbour is a wealthy enclave located north of Miami Beach, with designer boutiques and fine dining alongside luxury resorts and palatial private homes.

Coral Gables is a posh village made famous by the Biltmore Hotel, Venetian Pool, and Miracle Mile. Take the free trolley to Merrick Park for even more shopping and dining choices.

Coconut Grove is full of interesting things to see and do, including live theatre at the acclaimed Coconut Grove Playhouse, or take a stroll along the Coco Walk and the Streets of Mayfair.

Key Biscayne is an island only a short ride across the Rickenbacker Causeway. Visit the Miami Seaquarium, have a picnic on one of the tropical beaches, or meander the tree-lined streets full of eateries and retail establishments.

Little Havana lives up to its’ name as the primary residents are mostly immigrants from Cuba, Colombia, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and many more Latin and South American countries. Dance to live salsa music, feast on authentic cuisine, and revel in the convergence of a multitude of cultures.

Businesses

The range of cuisines available in Miami include Latin and South American, Continental, Caribbean, Fusion, Asian, and more, with styles ranging from barefoot casual to black-tie formal. Shopping is equally diverse, from fashion to home to art and everything in between. Entertainment follows suit with comedy clubs, nightclubs, live music venues, movie theatres, bars and lounges.
